I started looking at agricultural inputs the way I'd look at any system — does the data hold up, does the cost math work, does the manufacturer stand behind it.
The reason I started looking at all was simple: I kept hearing the same frustration from people I knew in farming and grounds management. Spray programs that needed re-application. Irrigation that ran long and still left dry spots. Crops or turf that looked tired by mid-July when they should have been thriving. Different operations, same story.

So I went looking for what the independent research said. Not the manufacturer brochures — the actual field studies. What I kept coming back to was APSA-80 and Nutriplant: 41 universities, 30 states, multi-year IRF trials, growers like Stan Evans on twenty consecutive seasons. That kind of evidence base is rare in the inputs space. I wasn't expecting it.
I started FieldEdge Ag because once I'd done that homework, it didn't feel right to keep it to myself. Most growers and superintendents don't have time to read multi-year IRF studies between equipment breakdowns and weather windows. I do. And I'd rather lay the data out plainly, walk through the cost math with you, and let you decide than pretend I'm something I'm not.
I'm not going to tell you I understand your operation better than you do — I don't, and you'd see through it in five minutes. What I can do is bring outside eyes to a question you might not have time to dig into yourself: is there an evidence-backed way to get more out of every input pass?
